What a Sky Exchange ID actually is
It's a username. Nothing more mysterious than that. The platform runs on personal logins, and your ID is the one tied to you and your mobile number. You type it on the login screen with the password we hand over in the chat, and the account behind it holds your balance and your open positions. The ID stays the same for as long as you hold the account; only the password changes, and only you change it. Some people write the brand as Skyexchange, one word. Same thing.
The bit people get wrong is where it comes from. You don't register on a web page. There is no form on this site asking for your name, your email or a password. The Sky Exchange team creates the ID at our end and sends it to you on WhatsApp. That's the whole system, and it's deliberate. One channel, one conversation, and a person on the other side who can check things before anything goes live.
If you already have an ID and just need to get in, the Sky Exchange login page is where you want to be. This page is for people starting from zero.
How the desk issues a Sky Exchange new ID
Here is what happens, in the order it happens. Most of it is us doing things while you wait.
- Open the chat. Tap the WhatsApp button on this page. It opens a conversation with the desk from your own WhatsApp, so the number we see is the one you'll be using.
- Say what you want. "New ID please" is enough. If you'd rather look around first, ask for a demo ID instead and we'll set that up.
- Confirm your number and your age. We ask you to confirm the mobile number you're messaging from is yours and that you are over 18. That's the only personal check we run in the chat.
- Talk through the first deposit. IDs usually go live with a first deposit attached. The desk explains the current routes, UPI and bank transfer are the usual ones, and confirms the figure for that day in the chat. Nothing is fixed on this page on purpose.
- Receive your ID and a temporary password. Both arrive as a WhatsApp message from the same number you've been talking to. Write the ID down exactly, capitals included.
- Log in and change the password. Do this on the platform, not anywhere else. Once you've changed it, we can't see it, and that's how it should be.
What to send us, and what to keep to yourself
You'll be surprised how little we need. The list below is the whole of it.
- A WhatsApp message from the number you'll use. The ID is tied to that number, so message from your own phone, not a friend's.
- A yes to the 18+ question. We ask every time. It isn't personal.
- A payment screenshot, if you're depositing. Only after the desk has given you the details in the chat, never before. Our deposits and withdrawals page walks through that part.
- Your existing ID, if you already have one. Say so up front. It saves everyone a duplicate.
Things the Sky Exchange team will never ask for
- Your password. Not the temporary one after you've changed it, not ever.
- An OTP from your bank or from the platform. If anyone asks for one, they are not us.
- ID documents, a card photo or a selfie. Not part of the process.
- Payment to any number or account other than the one the desk gives you in the chat that day.
The WhatsApp number and email we use are listed on the official channels page. Check the number before you send anything.

One person, one ID
We know that sounds strict. It's also the rule that keeps your money traceable to you.
Every Sky Exchange ID is linked to a single mobile number, and every number gets a single ID. If you ask for a second one on the same number, the desk will point you back to the first. If you want an ID for a friend, the friend messages us from their own phone. Sharing a login between two people is the fastest way to lose track of who deposited what, and when a withdrawal is requested we need to know the person asking is the person who owns the account.
If you've lost access to the number itself, that's a recovery case, covered further down.
ID vs demo ID vs agent access
Three different things get called "an ID" in the chat. This is how they differ.
| Feature | Full ID | Demo ID | Agent access |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who it is for | A player who wants to bet with real balance | Someone who wants to see the platform first | A person who manages IDs for other players |
| Real money | Yes, funded in the chat | No, display balance only | Manages player IDs; not a personal betting wallet |
| How you get it | WhatsApp chat with the desk | Same chat, ask for a demo | Arranged with the desk after a longer conversation |
| Withdrawals | Yes, requested in the chat | Not applicable | Settled with the desk |
| Can be upgraded | Already the full account | Yes, converts to a full ID | Separate track |
| Read more | This page | Demo ID | Agent access |
If you're torn between a demo and the real thing, the ID vs demo ID guide goes into what's actually switched off on a demo.
Recovering a Sky Exchange ID you have lost
There are three versions of "I lost my ID", and they need different fixes.
You forgot the ID itself but still have your phone. Message the desk from the registered number and ask. We check the number against our records and send the ID back in the chat. No password is involved.
You remember the ID but not the password. That's a reset, and we handle it in the chat too. The password reset guide shows the exact exchange so you know what a genuine reset looks like.
You've lost the phone number. This is the slow one. The desk needs to be sure the person asking is the account owner, and without the registered number that takes more back and forth. Start with the account recovery guide, then message us with everything it lists.
When to message us, and when you don't need to
Message the desk when you want a new ID, when you want to fund or withdraw, when the login screen rejects you and you've already checked the obvious, and any time a message about your account arrives from a number you don't recognise. Those are the moments a human on the desk earns their keep.
You don't need to message us to place a bet, to check your balance, or to change your password. All of that happens on the platform once you're in. If you're getting a specific error on the login screen, the login problems guide covers the ones we see most, and the support page tells you what to send for each type of issue so we can fix it in one reply. If you're not sure whether something needs the desk, ask anyway. A one-line question costs nothing, and we'd rather answer it now than untangle a problem later.
The desk runs round the clock. There's more on that on the Sky Exchange 247 page. Please bet within your means; our responsible gaming page is worth a read before your first deposit.
