Start with the check that clears most cases
Retype the ID by hand. Do not paste it.
Copied IDs bring a trailing space with them, and phone keyboards love to capitalise the first letter. The platform treats skyuser and Skyuser as two different things. Look for a zero where you meant the letter O, and for a lowercase L where you meant the number one. Then type the password the same way, with the eye icon switched on so you can see it.
If that works, you're done. If not, keep going.
Sky Exchange login not working: the checks in order
Work down the list without skipping. Each step rules out one cause, and the order matters because later steps are pointless if an earlier one was the real problem.
- Confirm you are on the platform, not a copy. The platform login has a username and a password field and nothing else. If the page you are staring at asks for an OTP, a UPI PIN or a card number, it is not the platform. Our guide on how to spot a fake Sky Exchange site lists the tells.
- Check the ID against what the desk gave you. Scroll up in your WhatsApp chat with the team. The ID we sent is the one to use, character for character. If you have more than one chat, the ID lives in the one with the number listed on Official Channels.
- Try a different browser or a private window. A private window ignores saved cookies and autofill. If login succeeds there, your normal browser is holding a dead session. Clear the site data for the platform and try again normally.
- Leave the in-app browser. Tapping a link inside WhatsApp, Instagram or Telegram opens a stripped-down browser that blocks some scripts. Copy the address and open it in Chrome or Safari. Full steps sit on the Sky Exchange mobile login page.
- Switch networks once. Move from Wi-Fi to mobile data or the other way. Some office and campus networks filter the platform, and the login page then loads half-way and stalls.
- Check whether the password was changed. Did you, or anyone who knows your phone, change it? If there is any doubt, go straight to the Sky Exchange password reset guide. Guessing repeatedly can lock the ID.
- Read the message on screen carefully. A wrong-password message and a blocked-account message look similar at a glance but mean very different things. The table below tells them apart.
If any page asked for an OTP, stop here
The Sky Exchange team never asks for your password or an OTP, not to fix a login, not to verify anything. A login page that wants a one-time code is collecting it for someone else. Close it, change your password on the real platform, and message us on the number shown on Official Channels so we can check the ID for unfamiliar activity.
What the message on screen is telling you
The platform is blunt but not always clear. Here is how we read the common ones when a screenshot lands in the chat.
| What you see | Most likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Invalid username or password | Typing slip, or the password was changed | Retype by hand. If it fails twice, request a reset rather than keep guessing. |
| Session expired, please log in again | Old cookie from a previous session | Clear site data or use a private window, then log in fresh. |
| Page keeps reloading or spins | In-app browser, data saver, or a filtered network | Open in Chrome or Safari, switch off data saver, change network. |
| Account blocked or contact your upline | The desk has paused the ID | Message the desk with your ID. This is not a browser issue. |
| Button does nothing when tapped | Scripts blocked by an extension or the in-app browser | Disable ad blockers for the platform, or switch browser. |
| Logged in, then thrown out at once | Same ID open on another device | Log out everywhere, then log in on one device only. |
Phone problems that look like login problems
Most Skyexchange users log in from a phone, and phones add their own failure modes. Data saver mode strips scripts the login page needs. Battery saver can freeze background tabs so a session dies while you're reading a message. Older Android browsers cache the login page aggressively and serve you a stale copy.
The fix for all three is the same: switch off data saver and battery saver while you log in, use the latest Chrome, and if the browser keeps misbehaving, ask the desk for the Android APK. The current build is version 1.9.5 and it is shared only in the WhatsApp chat, never as a download link on a website. Install details are on the Sky Exchange app page. On iPhone there is no APK; use Safari and add the platform to your home screen.
When to hand it to the desk
If you have done the seven steps and the login still fails, it is no longer a you problem. Send us one message with everything in it so we don't have to ask twice:
- Your Sky Exchange ID, typed exactly as you enter it
- A screenshot of the message on screen, with the address bar visible
- Your device and browser, for example Android with Chrome, or the app
- Was the password changed recently, and by whom
- Has the ID ever worked on this device before
Message from the mobile number your ID is tied to. The team matches the number to the ID before touching anything, which is why we can't help from a friend's phone. If you no longer hold that number, the account recovery guide covers what happens next. Anything the chat can't settle can go to our support page for escalation by email.
Once you are back in
Change the password on the platform if there was any doubt about who knew the old one. Log out of devices you don't use. And if you were logging in on a shared or borrowed phone, don't let the browser save the password. Our security checklist is short and saves you from doing this whole guide again.
