Logging in from an Android phone
Almost everyone who messages us is on Android, so this is the route we know best. You need the platform link from the chat, your Sky Exchange ID, and the password you set on the platform. Nothing else.
- Open Chrome and paste the platform link from your WhatsApp chat. Don't search for it. Search results are where the lookalike sites live.
- Tap the login field and type your ID exactly as it was sent, capitals included. Watch for the keyboard adding a capital at the start.
- Type your password on the platform. If Chrome offers to autofill, check it's the current password and not one you changed last month.
- Tap login and wait for the page to finish loading before you tap anything else. On slow data the odds grid fills in after the menu does.
If you get an error, don't retry ten times in a row. Read it, then look it up in the table further down this page or in our login problems guide.
Logging in from an iPhone
There is no iOS app for Sky Exchange, and nobody from our team will ever send you one. On an iPhone you use Safari, or any browser you prefer, and the platform works in the same way as on Android.
Two iPhone habits cause most of the login mess we see. Safari's autocorrect changing an ID into a dictionary word, and Private Browsing dropping the session the moment the tab closes. Turn off autocorrect for the login field by pasting the ID rather than typing it, and use a normal tab rather than a private one.
If you use iCloud Keychain, let it save the password once you've confirmed the login worked. Then it fills the right one every time.
Add the platform to your home screen
This puts an icon next to your other apps and opens the platform full-screen, without the browser bar. It is still the browser underneath, so nothing is installed and nothing needs updating.
| Step | Chrome on Android | Safari on iPhone |
|---|---|---|
| Open the platform | Paste the link from the chat and log in once | Paste the link from the chat and log in once |
| Find the menu | Tap the three dots in the top right corner | Tap the share icon at the bottom of the screen |
| Choose the option | Tap "Add to Home screen" | Scroll and tap "Add to Home Screen" |
| Name it | Keep the name or type "Sky Exchange", then tap Add | Keep the name or type "Sky Exchange", then tap Add |
| Use it | Tap the new icon. It opens without the address bar | Tap the new icon. It opens like an app |
One warning. The icon points at whatever address you were on when you added it. Add it from the link the team sent, not from a page you reached some other way. If in doubt, delete the icon and add it again from the chat link.

Data-saver and slow-network tips
Live odds update constantly, which is exactly what data-saver modes try to stop. A few settings make a real difference on a patchy connection.
- Turn off Lite mode or Data Saver for the platform. Compressed pages often show stale prices or a blank odds grid.
- Close other tabs before a live match. Each one is fighting for the same connection.
- Pause background downloads and updates while you're logged in. A system update pulling data will freeze the bet slip.
- Prefer Wi-Fi where you trust it. Public Wi-Fi is fine for browsing but not for logging in. Use mobile data for the login itself.
- Refresh rather than re-login. If prices stop moving, pull down to refresh first. Logging out and in again is slower and rarely needed.
If you want to see how your connection copes before you fund an account, ask for a Sky Exchange demo ID and log in during a live game.
Mobile-specific login problems
These are the phone-only issues that fill our chat on match days. Desktop users almost never hit them.
| What you see | Usual cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Invalid ID" although you're sure it's right | Keyboard capitalised the first letter or autocorrect changed the ID | Clear the field, paste the ID from the chat, check every character |
| Password rejected, then works on a second try | Autofill pasted an old password | Type it manually once, then update the saved entry |
| Login button is off the screen or cannot be tapped | Page zoomed in, or browser text size set very large | Pinch to zoom out, or reset the text size in browser settings |
| Logged out every time you switch apps | Phone is killing background tabs, or Private Browsing is on | Use a normal tab, add the platform to your home screen |
| Odds grid is blank but the menu loads | Data Saver or Lite mode compressing the page | Switch it off for the platform, then refresh |
| Page looks slightly different from last time | You may be on a lookalike site from a search or a forward | Close it. Open the link from the chat. Check how to spot a fake site |
| Forgot the password on your phone | Saved password was never stored, or was cleared | Follow the password reset guide. The team never asks for the old one |
Your password goes into the platform and nowhere else
Not into WhatsApp, not into a form on this site, not into a "verification" page someone sent you. The team never asks for it, and never asks for an OTP either. If a message claims your Sky Exchange mobile login needs re-verifying, ignore it and check the number against our Official Channels page. Our security checklist is short and worth a read on a new phone.
App or mobile web?
Both take you to the same account and the same markets. The browser route needs nothing installed and works on iPhone. The Android app, version 1.9.5, is shared by the team on WhatsApp and suits people who want one tap to open and no address bar to worry about.
Our honest advice: start in the browser. Add the home screen icon. If you find yourself logging in most days and want the app, ask for it in the chat. The Sky Exchange app page has the install steps and a full comparison, so we won't repeat them here.
Whichever you pick, the login itself is the same. The Sky Exchange login page covers the first login walkthrough and the errors that hit every device, not just phones.
When to message the desk about a mobile login
After you've tried the table above. Send us a screenshot of the error, your phone model, the browser you're using, and say if you're on Wi-Fi or data. That saves a round of questions. Our support page lists the same details for other problems.
Message from your registered number. If you've changed phones and numbers at the same time, say so straight away, because the team confirms your identity against the number on file.
