Before you log in
- Confirm the chat is ours. Reach the desk by tapping the button on Official Channels. Do not save or reuse a number from a comment, a forward or a search result.
- Check the address before typing. Look at the full address bar on the page where you enter your password. A copied page often has an extra word, a swapped letter or a different ending. The fake sites guide shows what to look for.
- Use a password you use nowhere else. If a password from another site leaks, it gets tried on every platform that person can think of. Make this one unique.
- Lock your phone. A PIN, fingerprint or face lock on the device is the cheapest protection you have. Your WhatsApp chat with the desk is on that phone, and so is your ID history.
- Install the app only from the team. The Android APK comes from the WhatsApp chat and nowhere else. If a download link arrived from anywhere else, do not open it. The Sky Exchange App page covers the install steps.
Every session
- Type your ID exactly. Capitals included. A login that fails after a typo tempts people into trying pages they should not. The login problems guide walks through the causes in order.
- Keep the password on the platform only. The login page on this site has an ID field and no password field on purpose. If you ever see a password box on any page other than the platform itself, stop.
- Never share your screen while logged in. Screen-share apps and remote support tools show everything, including balance and open bets. The desk never asks for a screen share.
- Log out when you finish on a shared device. On your own locked phone, staying logged in is fine. On anything shared, log out and clear the browser.
- Send money only to details from the chat, today. Payment details for a deposit are shared per transfer, and old details or numbers from elsewhere are how deposits go missing. The UPI deposit guide has the full rule.
What the Sky Exchange team never asks for
We never ask for your password, an OTP, your UPI PIN, a screen share, or a payment to "release" or "verify" your account. We never call you first from a number that is not on Official Channels. We never send a login link for you to enter your details on. If a message asks for any of those, it did not come from us, however good the logo looks. Save the chat, do not reply, and message the real desk so we can warn others.
Phone settings worth checking
| Setting | Why it matters | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Screen lock | Stops anyone who picks up the phone from reading your chats or opening the app | Phone settings, security or lock screen section |
| WhatsApp two-step PIN | Stops someone re-registering your WhatsApp number on another phone and impersonating you to the desk | WhatsApp settings, account, two-step verification |
| Unknown sources / install unknown apps | Needed once to install the APK from the team; switch it off again after so nothing else can install silently | Phone settings, apps, special access |
| Notification previews on lock screen | Hides OTPs and chat contents from anyone glancing at the phone | Phone settings, notifications |
| Browser saved passwords | Fine on your own locked phone; remove them on any shared device | Browser settings, passwords |
| SIM lock | Stops a stolen SIM from receiving your OTPs in another phone | Phone settings, security, SIM lock |
None of these take long. The WhatsApp two-step PIN is the one people skip most and the one we most wish they would not, because your registered number is how the desk knows it is you.
If something already looks wrong
Work through this list in order. Speed matters more than getting the order perfect.
- Stop using the page or chat you doubt. Close it. Do not type anything else into it, and do not reply to it.
- Change your platform password from your own phone, if you can still log in. Pick something new, not a variation of the old one.
- Message the desk from your registered number using the button on Official Channels. Say what happened in one message: what you typed, where, and when.
- Send a screenshot of the fake page or chat. The address bar or the phone number needs to be visible. This helps us warn other users.
- If you cannot log in at all, follow the account recovery guide. The team can verify you through your registered number.
- If you paid money to the wrong place, tell the desk with the payment screenshot straight away, and contact your bank or UPI app about the transfer.
Sky Exchange security habits that keep working
Security is boring when it works, and that is the point. Keep one WhatsApp chat with the desk and do everything in it, so your history is in one place and a new chat from a stranger stands out at once. Change your password when you have a reason to, not on a fixed schedule that you will stop following. Glance at the address bar every time you log in until it becomes automatic. And tell us when something looks odd, even if it turns out to be nothing. We would much rather read a false alarm than a recovery request.
New users sometimes want to practise before real money is involved, and that is a fair instinct. A demo ID lets you go through login, the screens and the habits above without any balance at risk. When you are ready for a live account, the Sky Exchange ID page explains how the desk issues one. For anything this page did not answer, the Support page lists what to send us.
